Russian Tortoise Hatchlings

Russian Tortoise Hatchlings for Sale

We have captive-bred Russian Tortoise hatchlings for sale, also known as Testudo horsfieldii. Russian tortoises are a popular species for keepers looking for a smaller, active tortoise with a curious personality. They remain relatively small as adults, generally reaching around 6–8 inches in shell length.

Our Russian tortoise hatchlings are raised with proper care and are prepared for their new homes. They are herbivores Russian Tortoise Feeding Guide and should be provided with a varied, high-fiber diet consisting primarily of suitable leafy greens, grasses, and edible weeds.

For new owners, we strongly recommend having your tortoise habitat completely prepared before bringing your hatchling home. A proper setup should include adequate floor space, appropriate substrate, a warm basking area, a cooler area, UVB lighting, a secure hiding place, and access to clean water.

Russian tortoises are generally active and hardy, but young hatchlings still require careful attention to their environment and hydration. Providing the right conditions from the beginning is important for their growth and long-term well-being.

When choosing a Russian tortoise, we recommend purchasing a captive-bred tortoise from a reputable breeder whenever possible. Captive-bred tortoises can provide keepers with a more responsible alternative to purchasing wild-caught animals.

Our Russian Tortoise hatchlings are available for shipping across the USA and are carefully prepared for safe transport to their new homes.
